Morningstar is a well-built and maintained classic sailboat, excellent for cruising the Gulf Islands or leisurely day trips. With a beam of 8ft and drawing less than 3ft of water with her ¾ length keel, Morningstar can take advantage of many moorages not accessible to conventional keel boats. The mainsail is virtually new (2009) and the jib is in excellent condition also. All lines have been lead aft for single handed sailing. She is powered by a Yanmar 8hp diesel, recently serviced and running well, plus a motor mount for an optional small outboard. Morningstar has a new coat of bottom paint and a shiny new brass propeller. JUST ADDED - TWO brand new batteries
